General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport (BOS) is located east of Boston, Massachusetts, USA, and is the largest in the state and the busiest aviation hub in New England. Named after Edward Lawrence Logan, a prominent local politician and military general, the airport is conveniently located about 5 km from downtown Boston.
Logan Airport has four main terminals (A, B, C, E) serving more than 40 airlines and handling more than 40 million passengers annually. Terminal E is dedicated to international flights and is equipped with U.S. Customs and Border Protection facilities. The airport is connected to downtown Boston by free shuttle buses, water cabs and the Silver Line subway.

Its iconic Runway 6L/24R is known for being built partially on an artificial island.
