Buford is located in Laramie County, Wyoming, USA, off Interstate 80, about 40 kilometers south of the state capital, Cheyenne. The town is famous for having the smallest resident population in the United States - in 2010, there was only one person left (and then it became uninhabited for a time), and was certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the "least populated incorporated town in the United States".
