Jinggang Mountain: Cradle of the Chinese Revolution and Red Tourism Mecca
Jinggang Mountain, located in the southwestern part of Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, is the cradle of the Chinese Revolution and a famous red tourism mecca, known as "the first mountain in the world". It is the first rural revolutionary base created by the Communist Party of China, where Comrade Mao Zedong led the Autumn Harvest Uprising in 1927, opening up the revolutionary path of "encircling cities in the countryside and seizing power by armed force", and where many red sites remain, such as the Jinggang Mountain Revolutionary Museum, the Huangyangjie sentry post, and the Moping Bajiao Building.
