Introduction to the city of Habur, Yemen
Habur is a mountainous city in Taiz Governorate in western Yemen, located in the southwestern part of the Arabian Peninsula, in a mountainous region at a high altitude, with the surrounding terrain dominated by hills and valleys, and a mild and dry climate. The city has a long history and was once an important node on the ancient trade routes connecting Yemen's coastal and inland regions, preserving traditional Yemeni architectural styles and cultural heritage. In recent years, affected by Yemen's civil war, Al Habr has faced challenges such as infrastructure destruction and humanitarian crises, and the local population mainly relies on agriculture and handicrafts to make a living, cultivating crops such as coffee and cereals. As part of the mountainous region of central Yemen, Al Habr, with its natural beauty and historical heritage, was in need of peace and stability in order to regain its economic and social development, which had been constrained by the volatile situation and limited the development of tourism.
