Erbil, Iraq: Where Ancient Civilizations Meet
Located in northern Iraq, Erbil is the capital of the autonomous region of Kurdistan and one of the oldest cities in Iraq, with a history dating back to 6,000 B.C. It has been described as "the world's oldest continuously inhabited city".
