Arwad Island, Syria: a historical pearl in the Mediterranean Sea
Arwad Island, the only inhabited island in Syria, is located in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, about 3 kilometers away from the city of Tartus, and is known as the "Pearl of the Mediterranean".
