Introduction to Mangri, Nepal
Mangal is a town in central Nepal, located about 120 kilometers west of Kathmandu, in Tanahu District of Gandaki Province. Located at the low altitude of the Himalayan foothills, the climate is mild and agriculture is the main source of the local economy, producing rice, wheat and vegetables. Mangri is a blend of Nepal's diverse cultures, and its inhabitants are predominantly ethnic groups such as the Nivars and the Gurungs, who have preserved traditional folk festivals and handicrafts, such as wood carving and weaving.
