Siziwangqi is located in the northern part of Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, a typical grassland pastoral flag county under the jurisdiction of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Located on the southern edge of the Mongolian Plateau, with an average altitude of about 1,300 meters, it has a temperate continental climate with cool summers and cold winters. With a total area of about 25,000 square kilometers and a population of about 200,000, Mongolians account for one-third of the total population, retaining a strong traditional Mongolian culture.
Siziwangqi has vast grasslands and is an important base for animal husbandry in Inner Mongolia, mainly raising sheep, cattle and horses. Within its territory, there are the extension of the Xilingol Grassland and a number of nature reserves, with a beautiful ecological environment, green grass and wildflowers in the summer, known as the "Pearl of the Grassland".
Siziwangqi was named after the Mongolian princes of the Sizi tribe in the Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 300 years. Every year, the Naadam Festival is held to display traditional folklore such as wrestling, horse racing and archery. Famous attractions include the Gegen Tara Grassland Tourism Center and the ruins of the ancient city of Orensumu in the Yuan Dynasty, making it an ideal destination for experiencing Mongolian culture and grassland scenery.
