Located in the southeastern part of Jiangxi Province, China, seeking Wu County is subordinate to Ganzhou City and is situated at the junction of Gan, Fujian and Guangdong provinces, which is the southern gate of Jiangxi Province. The county has a total area of about 2,311 square kilometers and a population of about 300,000 people. Xunwu has a predominantly subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons and rich natural resources, producing citrus, pomelo and other agricultural products, and is known as the "Hometown of Mandarin Oranges in China".
Xunwu has a long history and is an important part of the Central Soviet Area, where Mao Zedong conducted his famous "Xunwu Survey", which had a profound impact on the Chinese Revolution.
