Yuzhong County: the East Gate and Ecological Pearl of Lanzhou, Gansu Province
Yuzhong County is located in the central part of Gansu Province, northeast of Lanzhou city, the eastern gate of Lanzhou and an important satellite city, with a total area of 3,300 square kilometers, 8 towns and 8 townships under the jurisdiction of the county, with a population of about 430,000 people. It has a long history, with human beings flourishing in the Neolithic Age, and is rich in sites of Majiayao and Qijia cultures, and has been an important post on the Silk Road since ancient times.
