Zhaotong in Yunnan Province: The Throat of Northeast Yunnan and the Place of Multicultural Interaction
Zhaotong, located in the northeastern part of Yunnan Province, Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan provinces, is an important channel from Yunnan to the Central Plains, known as the "throat of Western Sichuan, the key to the South Yunnan". This place has a long history and is the core birthplace of "Juti Culture", Juti County was set up during the Qin and Han Dynasties, and the ancient stagecoach road Doushaguan still retains historical relics such as "Bo's Hanging Coffin" and "Yuan Zi's Inscription".
