Mording, Laos: A Vibrant Special Economic Zone on the China-Laos Border
Located in the southern section of the China-Laos borderline and bordering with the Mohan Port in Mengla County, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province, Moding is an important border city in Luang Namtha Province, Laos, and is known as the "Gateway to Northern Laos". As a key node of the China-Laos Economic Corridor, since its establishment in 2011, the Special Economic Zone of Maoting has gradually developed into a comprehensive hub integrating logistics, trade, manufacturing and tourism, relying on the opening of the China-Laos Railway.
