Gharyan, Libya: A Historic Oasis on the Edge of the Desert
Gharyan, an important city in northwestern Libya, is a historic oasis located in the Jabal al Gharbi mountain range, about 100 kilometers south of Tripoli, in the transition zone between the Libyan desert and the Mediterranean coast.
