Jimunai: The Border Pearl of Xinjiang's Northern Frontier
Jimunai County is located in the southwestern part of Altay Region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China, at the southern foothills of Altay Mountains and the northern edge of Junggar Basin, bordering with Kazakhstan, with a length of about 141 kilometers, and it is an important station of the Northern Road of the ancient Silk Road and the border port county of the current "One Belt, One Road" Initiative.
