Kongoussi: an agricultural and commercial town in north-central Burkina Faso
An important city in the Samatenga Province of Burkina Faso's North-Central Region, about 100 kilometers north of the capital city of Ouagadou, Korjai is a central hub of agricultural and commercial activity in the region. The city is surrounded by the vast Sahelian grasslands, which are rich in millet, maize, peanuts and other crops, and the local market is active and is a distribution center for agricultural products in the surrounding area.
