Panzhihua: Sunshine Steel City and Recreation Resort in Sichuan, China
Panzhihua is located in the southwestern part of Sichuan Province, China, at the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan Provinces, and at the confluence of Jinsha River and Yalong River. It is the only subtropical dry and hot valley city in Sichuan, and is known as "Steel City" and "Sun City" because of the many Panzhihua flowers in its territory (kapok).
