It is located in the southern part of the Hualien-East Longitudinal Valley Plain, and the Xiuguluan River flows through the township, which is blessed with natural landscapes and agricultural resources.
Fuli is famous for its high-quality rice production, known as the "Eastern Rice Warehouse", of which "Fuli Rice" is a well-known brand in Taiwan. Famous attractions in the area include the Golden Needle Flower Sea at Sixty Stone Mountain (attracting a large number of tourists during the flowering season from August to September each year), the Luoshan Waterfall, and the Fuli Rice Straw Art Festival, which showcase the rich agricultural culture and eco-tourism resources.

The local residents are characterized by the fusion of Hakka and aboriginal cultures, preserving the traditional rural landscape while gradually developing the eco-tourism industry.
Fuli Township belongs to Hualien County, Taiwan Province of China, and is an important agricultural township at the southern end of the Huadong Valley. With an altitude of 200-1200 meters and an annual precipitation of about 2200 millimeters, the climate is suitable for the growth of rice, with an annual output of more than 10,000 tons of rice, and the brand of "Fuli Rice" is marketed throughout Taiwan. The population of the township is about 11,000 people, mostly engaged in agriculture.
Sightseeing resources are best represented by the golden needle flower season in Sixty Stone Mountain, where 60 hectares of flowers form a golden carpet every summer, and together with Chike Mountain and Luoshan Organic Village, it forms an in-depth tourism line. In addition, there are geological wonders such as the Soba Stone Pillars made of Ming Dynasty volcanic debris and the Luoshan Waterfall with a drop of 65 meters.
Transportation is available via the Fuli Station of the Taiwan Railway (about 80 kilometers from Hualien City) or Route 9, and there is an agricultural exhibition and sales center in the township to promote local agricultural products. In recent years, the township has developed an experiential tourism model by combining organic agriculture and eco-tourism.
