Cheng County is located in the southeastern part of Gansu Province in China, under Longnan City, at the southern foot of the Qinling Mountains and the upper reaches of the Jialing River. With a long history, the county is an important node of the ancient Shu Road and one of the birthplaces of Longnan culture, with national cultural relics protection units such as the Xixiasong cliff carvings. Rich in natural resources, known for walnuts, Chinese medicinal herbs and minerals, known as "Jiangnan on the Longnan" and "the hometown of China's walnuts" reputation. The economy is dominated by agriculture and tourism, and the ecological environment is beautiful, making it an eco-tourism destination in southern Gansu.
Chengxian County is located in the Qinba mountainous area, with an average altitude of about 1000 meters. It has a warm-temperate semi-humid climate with four distinct seasons and abundant precipitation. The surrounding area is bordered by Hui County and Kang County, etc. The transportation is convenient, with the G7011 Expressway and Baocheng Railway passing through the area, connecting Gansu with Sichuan, Shaanxi and other provinces.
Chengxian County is rich in culture, with the Han Dynasty cliff carvings in Xixiasong as a world cultural heritage, and historical sites such as Du Fu Cao Tang attracting many tourists. Natural landscapes include Jifeng Mountain National Forest Park and Rhinoceros River Scenic Area, suitable for eco-tourism and humanistic exploration.
