Kukuryki is a small village in the Lublin Voivodeship of Poland on the Belarusian border, the easternmost point of Polish territory, just across the bridge from the Brest Oblast of Belarus, and a unique landmark on the eastern border of the European Union. Although small, the village is known for its geographical importance as one of the key border checkpoints connecting Poland and Belarus, and as part of the cross-border corridor of the "European E30 highway". With a predominantly plain landscape and rich agricultural resources in the surrounding area, local life has retained a typical Eastern European border flavor, without the hustle and bustle of the bustling city, but attracting many geography enthusiasts to visit because of the title of "the easternmost point of Europe", it is a unique place to experience the serenity of Poland's eastern borders and cross-border cultural intermingling.
