Located in the northern part of the Macau Peninsula in China, Fátima Parish is the largest parish in Macau, occupying about one-third of the peninsula's total area. It is characterized by a strong sense of community life and multiculturalism, with historical religious sites as well as modern residential and commercial areas. Famous attractions in the district include Kwun Yum Tong, which was built in the Ming Dynasty and is one of the three major Zen groves in Macau with a flourishing incense burning; and the Guan Zha Border Crossing, an important hub connecting the Mainland and Macau, is also situated here, witnessing the frequent exchanges of people and goods between the two places. In addition, the residential districts of Hac Sa Wan and Iao Hon, with their high-rise buildings, gathering local residents and new immigrants, as well as marketplaces, schools, parks and other amenities, not only retain the urban flavor of the old Macau, but also demonstrate the vitality of urban development, making it a typical area for experiencing the daily life of Macau.
