Urhe: Yardang Wonders in Karamay, Xinjiang
Located in the northeastern part of Karamay City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Urhe District is situated at the northwestern edge of the Junggar Basin, and is famous for its unique Yardang landforms, which are known as "Devil's City". Here was once an ocean hundreds of millions of years ago, after a long period of wind erosion and water cut, formed a thousand mounds, stone pillars, in the sand more mysterious and magnificent.
