Moli Dawa Daur Autonomous Banner (Mo Banner for short) is located in the southeastern part of Hulunbeier City in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, at the eastern foot of the Daxing'anling Mountains, and is the main settlement of the Daur ethnic group. Established in 1958, Mo Banner has Daur as its main ethnic group, integrating Han Chinese, Mongolians and other multi-ethnic groups living together. It is rich in natural resources, with vast forests, grasslands and fertile farmland, and the climate is temperate continental monsoon climate with four distinct seasons.
Moqi is famous for its Daur culture, with traditional festivals such as the "Goodbaugh Festival" and "Hockey" being included in the national intangible cultural heritage. The economy is based on agriculture, animal husbandry and tourism, with crops such as soybeans and corn in abundance, and the development of ecotourism and ethnic culture experience programs.
