Gongshu, Zhejiang, China: Hangzhou's Center City by the Canal
Gongshu District, located in the northern part of Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is one of the central districts of Hangzhou and the core carrying area of the Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Named after the famous Gongchen Bridge, the district has a long history and a rich cultural heritage, and has been a major trading town on the canal since ancient times.
