Xuanhua, Hebei, China: The First Prefecture of Western Beijing, a Famous Historical and Cultural City
Xuanhua, located in the southeast of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is a national famous historical and cultural city, known as "the first capital of western Beijing". It was once an important acropolis of the Great Wall defense line in the Ming Dynasty, with a prominent military status, and the longest Ming Dynasty ancient city wall (12 kilometers in circumference) and the "Three Buildings" of Qingyuan Building, Zhenshuo Building and Gongji Building exist in the country, of which Qingyuan Building is the tallest surviving wooden drum tower in the country. As the "City of Grapes", Xuanhua White Milk Grapes is a national geographic indications product with a cultivation history of over 1300 years.
