Located in the northwestern part of Gansu Province, China, in the middle of the Hexi Corridor, Zhangye is an important historical and cultural city on the ancient Silk Road. The city is famous for its magnificent Danxia landforms, and Zhangye Danxia National Geopark is included in the World Geopark Network, attracting tourists from around the globe with its colorful hilly landscapes.
