Located in the southeast of Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province, Dari County is situated in the core area of the Sanjiangyuan National Park, an important ecological barrier at the source of the Yellow River, with an average elevation of 4,000 meters above sea level, and possessing vast alpine meadows, wetlands and rare wildlife resources.
