Qazi Mohammad is the name of a region of Azerbaijan, located in the southwestern part of the country, which is part of the East Zangezur Economic Region. The region is named after the historical figure Qazi Mohammad, who is culturally important in the region. The region has a mountainous terrain, rich in natural resources, and an economy based on agriculture and animal husbandry, producing cereals, fruits, and other crops.
Located in the southern foothills of the Caucasus Mountains, near the border with Armenia, Kazi-Mohammad has a continental climate with warm, dry summers and cold, snowy winters. Its strategic location makes it one of the transportation hubs of southwestern Azerbaijan.
