Introduction to Shanchon County, South Korea
Located in the northern part of Gyeongsangnam-do in South Korea, Sanchon County (Korean: 합천군) is a typical rural county known for its natural beauty and traditional culture. Surrounded by mountains and crossed by a tributary of the Nakdong River, the county has a beautiful ecological environment and is home to natural attractions such as the Ginkgo trees of Naeri in Sancheon-eup and the Gaya Mountain National Park, where the autumn foliage and the 1,000-year-old Ginkgo trees are particularly spectacular.
