Located in the northeastern part of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, Namasha District is an important settlement for the Bunun and Kanakanafu ethnic groups. Located in the southwestern foothills of the Yushan Mountain Range, at an altitude of 500-1,200 meters above sea level, it boasts magnificent canyons and virgin forests in the Nantzixian River basin.
