Roncador is a city in the state of Mato Grosso, in west-central Brazil, located about 480 kilometers north of the state capital, Cuiabasi. The city belongs to the Cerrado Biome and has a tropical Savanna climate with an average annual temperature of about 26°C. The city is located in the Mato Grosso State, in the center of the state.
Loncador was officially founded as a city in 1986, taking its name from the Loncador River, which flows through the area. According to the latest data, the city has a population of about 15,000 people, and its economy is based on agriculture and livestock, and it is an important producer of soybeans, corn, and other crops.
The city is located in the Brazilian Plateau, at an altitude of about 300 meters above sea level, and is surrounded by rich river resources.
