Roncador is a city in the state of Mato Grosso, in west-central Brazil, located about 480 kilometers north of the state capital, Cuiabasi. The city belongs to the Cerrado Biome and has a tropical Savanna climate with an average annual temperature of about 26°C. The city is located in the Mato Grosso State, in the center of the state.
History and population
Loncador was officially founded as a city in 1986, taking its name from the Loncador River, which flows through the area.
