Yanshui District is located in the northern part of Tainan City, Taiwan Province of China, formerly known as Xuejia Fortress, named after Yanshui Creek, and is one of the townships with a long history in Taiwan. It is famous for the Yanshui Bee Cannon Festival held during the Lantern Festival, which attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists every year - the bee cannon consists of tens of thousands of rockets, and has become an important folk cultural asset in Taiwan with its spectacular scene of "praying for blessings in the sky". It has become an important folk cultural asset in Taiwan and is listed as one of the 12 local festivals in Taiwan. In addition to the bee cannons, Yanshui is also home to many monuments, such as the 300-year-old Wu Temple, the Protection Palace dedicated to the Five Fortunes Emperor, and the Kangle Old Street, which has preserved the traditional street houses, where traces of Min-style architecture and Minnan culture can be seen everywhere. Local snacks are also unique, such as salt water spaghetti, duck eggs, oyster oysters and other delicacies, combining the traditions of southern Fujian with local innovations, allowing visitors to experience folklore and savor the human touch of southern Taiwan.
