Karakin Left-wing Mongolian Autonomous County, or Kazuo for short, is located in the western part of Liaoning Province, under the jurisdiction of Chaoyang Municipality, at the intersection of Liaoning, Hebei and Inner Mongolia, and is an important gateway from Northeast China to North China. As an autonomous county with a high proportion of Mongolians, it is a place where the cultures of Mongolians and Han Chinese are blended together, and is rich in folklore, especially famous for the Ulanmu Riding Horse, folk songs and dances, and handicrafts (such as the Kazuo Purple Ceramics). The territory is rich in history, with monuments such as the Pigeonhole Ancient Human Ruins and Tiancheng Guan, witnessing the evolution of civilization in western Liaoning. In agriculture, Khazuo is rich in millet, jujube and other specialties; in industry, metallurgy and building materials are the pillars; at the same time, it relies on ecological resources to develop cultural and tourism industries, with Longfeng Mountain Scenic Spot and Dayang Mountain Forest Park attracting tourists to explore the beauty of nature and humanities, and it is a fascinating place for experiencing the diversified cultures of western Liaoning.
