Li County is located in the central part of China's Hebei Province, part of Baoding City, in the hinterland of the North China Plain. The county has a long history and is the hometown of Fan Li, a famous statesman during the Warring States period, from which the name of the place originates. Li County is known for its agriculture and specialty industries, and is an important yam planting base and fur processing and distribution center in China, and is known as the "Hometown of Chinese Yam" and the "Fur Capital".
In terms of transportation, Li County is close to the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway and Daguang Expressway, and about 80 kilometers away from Xiong'an New Area, with obvious location advantages. The local area retains ancient architectural complexes and traditional folk culture of the Qing Dynasty, and its economy is dominated by modern agriculture and light industry.
