Pulandian District: A New Ecological and Industrial District in the North of Dalian
Pulandian District is located in the south of Liaoning Province and the east side of Liaodong Peninsula, belonging to Dalian City, and is an important northern gateway area of Dalian City. Geographic coordinates between 121°16′~122°20′ east longitude, 39°19′~39°59′ north latitude, south of Jinpu New District, north of Yingkou Gaizhou City, east of Zhuanghe City, west of the Bohai Sea, Pulandian Bay, the location of significant advantages. Historically, it used to be Xinjin County, which was abolished as a county and set up as a city in 1991, and was approved by the State Council to be abolished as a city and set up as a district by the State Council in 2016, becoming a jurisdiction of Dalian City.
