Rudong County is located in the southeastern part of Jiangsu Province, China, under Nantong City, bordering the Yellow Sea to the east and the Yangtze River to the south, making it an important coastal county in the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone. It has a total area of about 1,739 square kilometers and a population of about 880,000 people. Rudong is characterized by its marine economy, with rich mudflat resources and port advantages, and Yangkou Port is a State Class I open port, which boosts regional logistics and industrial development.
