Tuanuku is an island of the Kingdom of Tonga, located in the northern part of the Vava'u Archipelago in the South Pacific Ocean. As one of the important islands in northern Tonga, Tuanuku attracts a small number of adventure travelers with its pristine natural beauty and traditional Polynesian culture.
Tuanuku is a small island with a typical coral reef ecosystem and clear surrounding waters suitable for snorkeling and diving. The island's lush vegetation and gentle terrain preserve the unspoiled ecology of the South Pacific islands.
The local population is predominantly Tongan and maintains a traditional fishing and hunting life and community structure. There are no large-scale tourist facilities in Toanuku. Visitors can experience the original island life and participate in traditional cultural activities such as kava ceremonies.
The island is highlighted by eco-tourism with coral reefs, tropical fish and sea turtles. Due to its remote location, it needs to be reached by boat from the main island of Vava'u, which makes it suitable for tourists seeking a peaceful, escapist trip to explore.
