Zhuanghe is a county-level city under the administration of Dalian, Liaoning Province, China. It is located in the southeastern part of Liaodong Peninsula, bordering the Yellow Sea, with a total area of about 4,000 square kilometers. As an important marine economic and agricultural base on the Liaodong Peninsula, Zhuanghe is famous for seafood farming, rice cultivation and tourism, and has rich coastline resources and natural landscapes.
The economy of Zhuanghe is dominated by the marine industry, producing aquatic products such as sea cucumbers and shellfish, making it an important aquaculture and processing center in northern China. Meanwhile, Zhuanghe has developed agriculture and is one of the high-quality rice producing areas in Liaoning Province. Zhuanghe has a deep cultural heritage, incorporating the characteristics of the Manchu and other ethnic minorities. The transportation is convenient, with the Shenhai Expressway and the Dan-Da Express Railway running through the whole territory, and the Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport is about 120 kilometers away, making it easy to connect to major cities at home and abroad.
