Fu County is located in the north of China's Shaanxi Province, under the city of Yan'an, in the hinterland of the Loess Plateau. It has a long history and was known as Shanshu in ancient times, which is one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization. The county is mainly agricultural, producing apples, corn and millet, and is known as the "Granary of Shaanxi". There are historical relics such as the Qin Straight Path and the Kaiyuan Temple Pagoda, blending red culture with natural scenery. The transportation is convenient, with the Baomao Expressway and Qinglan Expressway running through the whole area, connecting Xi'an, Yan'an and other cities. With a total area of about 4,185 square kilometers and a population of about 150,000, it has a temperate continental climate with four distinct seasons.
