Suo County is located in the eastern part of Nagchu City in the Tibet Autonomous Region, between the Tanggula Mountain and the Nyingchi Tanggula Mountain, with an average elevation of about 3,570 meters, making it one of the most important counties in the northern part of Tibet. It is dominated by the plateau meadow landscape, with the upper tributaries of the Nujiang River running through it, giving rise to a unique ecosystem.
