The Battle of Hundred Regiments and other major battles were commanded here by Zhu De, Peng Dehuai, Liu Bocheng and other revolutionaries of the older generation, leaving behind rich red relics, such as the Eighth Route Army Taihang Memorial Hall, the former site of the Eighth Route Army Headquarters at Wangjiayu, the former site of the command headquarters of the Battle of Hundred Regiments at Brick Wall, etc., which are the national patriotism education demonstration bases and classic scenic spots of red tourism. This place not only carries heavy revolutionary history, but also integrates Taihang folk culture, with unique flavors of specialties such as Wuxiang jujube cake and dry cake, etc. In terms of natural landscape, the Taihang Mountain Grand Canyon (Wuxiang section) is steep and beautiful, and it is a tourist destination integrating red education, folk experience and ecological sightseeing.
