Guan Guan, Shanxi, China: the first pass of the Yellow River into Jin, the thousand-year-old ancient city in northwest China
Located in the northwestern part of Shanxi Province, on the east bank of the Yellow River, it is the first important pass where the Yellow River flows into Shanxi Province, and has been the "screen of Jin" and a place where soldiers have to fight for their lives since ancient times. The Great Wall meanders in the territory, and the passes stand in a row. The Laoniuwan Yellow River Canyon meets the Great Wall, forming the spectacle of "the Yellow River and the Great Wall shaking hands", which is regarded as "one of the most beautiful canyons in China".
